Blimey this post seems to have taken me an age to sort out which is due in part to being rather tired what with building and painting the shed, much running about and drinking lots followed by a healthy dose of shed dismantling. Excuses aside here's a few nice photos of the supersonic shed in all its glory taken by Lee, Mark and Log. I'm gonna try and take some pictures of my work and post them up another time and I also need to post about some of the new things I made to sell over the weekend but will save that for next week. Huge thanks to anyone that came and took the time to have a look in the shed and hugs and kisses to anyone that bought anything.
In other news, should anyone be in the Kings Heath area tomorrow I'll be sharing a stall with Ruth, Sara and Yee at the Farmers Market so come along, say hello and maybe even part with some of your hard earned reddies.

Super Trooper

Well folks its time for the annual outcrowd outing to that most spectacular of events, the Supersonic festival. This year we'll be setting up residence in an old garden shed whose walls will be adorned with a dizzying array of new works all made with wood (and by that I don't mean we were in an aroused state whilst making the work). As usual we'll have a plethora of goodies for you to buy to adorn the walls of your home or to wear upon your very person. If you are coming along do say hello and though I'm sure you'll be more interested in hearing what's happening on the other stages, if you listen carefully you'll also hear me playing a few records before Diagonal, Nancy Wallace and a few others.
...and in case you were wondering, its a line from the song 'My Name is Carnival' by Jackson C Frank.

Armstrong, Aldrin & Collins

This is my new piece for the Joyful Bewilderment and is inspired by the 1969 moon landing, which happened (oh yes it did!) 40 years ago this month.
